One of the most meaningful steps we can take as believers is to obey the Lord in baptism. For most people, this becomes a milestone in their walk with Jesus and demonstrates in a visible manner a person’s internal decision to follow Christ.

We would consider it an honor for us to walk alongside of you as you take this step in your spiritual journey.

Membership

Is Everybody In...

This is an important step that helps move each of us off the sidelines and into the game. Attendees are spectators, and members get involved in ministry. The big difference in a church attendee and a church member is commitment.

The Bible is very clear on involvement and commitment to a local church as essential for believers. Although membership is not listed as a requirement for a Christian in the Bible, throughout the New Testament there are many verses about Christians meeting in local congregations. We at CBC believe that membership is an expression of our commitment to God and identifies our willingness to formally and publicly align as a genuine follower of Christ.

What Are You Waiting For...

Doing everything from holding babies and greeting guest, to leading students. It’s all important, and it’s all done by average CBC people. And yes, we need you.  Maybe you’ve been coming to CBC for two weeks. Maybe ten years. Maybe you've already tested the waters and you're ready to increase your involvement.

Nursery Caregiver
As a nursery caregiver you interact, cuddle, feed, rock to sleep and yes, change diapers. Not to mention play, play some more, hand out the ever-popular snacks and clean up afterwards!

Facilities Cleaning Crew
Does keeping things looking new give you a sense of joy and accomplishment? Are you organized, dependable and like to clean? Come find your niche in our facilities cleaning crew.

Greeters
Do you like to talk and listen? Then this is the job for you! We need people welcome guests, provide general instructions, assist with questions.

Audio/Visual
Men and women are needed to maintain sound quality, operate media software and record sermons in services. If you have an ear, can run a soundboard, or would like to learn, this ministry is for you.

Children's Teachers/Workers
Are you up for the excitement - and the challenges - of helping children discover they matter to God? Or maybe you're just a kid at heart and know you'll have fun in our children's classes too!

Care Support
Are you wired up just for reaching out and helping others? Your strengths, skills and compassion may make you the perfect addition to one of these crucial teams, serving in the capacity that fits your time and interests.
